New Moon in Aquarius
The New Moon - a time when the moon is so close to the sun that it is not visible - is a time to set intentions and make action plans for the time period between the new moon and its culmination at the Full Moon in Aquarius. That will be on August 19 in 2024, so that gives us roughly a half year to work on those intentions and follow action plans.
Some Aquarian themes include individuality, innovation, group activities, and humanitarian efforts. Aquarius, as an air sign ruled by quirky Uranus, brings a sense of eccentricity and originality to this special lunar phase. It encourages us to break free from conventional norms and embrace our unique perspectives. This is an especially potent period for setting goals related to personal growth, intellectual pursuits, and innovative projects. Aquarius encourages us to think outside the box and embrace our individuality as we chart our own path forward.
Just a quick note for this particular new moon - it’s better to hold off until Saturday for any new moon rituals because of a long void of course. That’s not a good time to start new things. However, that means tonight is a great night to chill, meditate, indulge in some self-care, day-dream, and celebrate the Lunar New Year tomorrow!
Happy New Moon, y’all!
