Astrology
“We are born at a given moment, in a given place and, like vintage years of wine, we have the qualities of the year and of the season of which we are born. Astrology does not lay claim to anything more.”
– Carl Jung
Like crystals, man’s search for meaning through the study of the heavenly bodies is ancient. Astrology is said to be the study of the correlation between the movements of the celestial bodies and earthly affairs. Although people think of the stars when they think of astrology, it is actually much more focused on the movements of the sun, the moon, and the planets.
In modern times astrology has entered popular culture by virtue of horoscopes, which generally give a weekly or monthly forecast depending on one’s sun sign. Most people are familiar with where the sun was when they were born and can tell you that they are a Taurus or a Libra or what have you. However, there is much more to a personal chart than just your sun sign. A natal chart will also account for the energies and tendencies that are inherent in where the moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars and all of the rest of the planets were at the time of your birth as well.
I would be happy to look at your natal chart and help you learn what it says about the big picture of your life and where your strengths and your challenges may be. (Look for my help with transits in the near future!)
For the most accurate reading of a natal chart, please provide your date of birth, time of birth and place of birth.
